I remember when Facebook first arrived in 2004.  I said I would never join as it would just be a waste of time and "there would be other more productive things I could do with such precious time of mine". I caved in two years later and ironically became addicted! After the addiction wore off I realised it was one of the most beneficial networking tools I have ever come across. What a great way to keep up to date with the rest of the world with minimum effort. Then a few years later Twitt...
